Dimension is taken through the photo, downward from an upper surface, upward from a downward surface, horizontally, etc.
Creates a sense of deepness.

Into The Unknown
This picture creates a sense of curiosity
Composed of only black and white
Your eye is drawn to the end of the path, where the light is coming forward through the picture.
The background is composed of nature ; trees, leaves and bushes
The trees, gravel, and grass create texture
This is a photo about a pathway leading to unknown. The setting seems like a quiet place, not very inhabited by people, foresty. Seems like an old fashioned picture.
Framing
Draws attention to the center, or subject of the photo using shapes, outlines, etc

Dancing Sunbeams
Your sight follows the sunbeams into the middle of the photo which is the tree.
The photo gives off a warm feeling
Composed of lines
You can see the texture of the moss on the branches, and the twigs on the ground.
I think this photo is about a walk in the forest on a sunny morning.
Element Relationship
When two seperate things come together to become one subject.
The two objects can not be divided into two different photos, it wouldn't work.

Lions Playing
The two lion cubs are together the subject of the photo.
It's pretty simple, so there isn't a distraction from the lion cubs
This picture reminds me of innocence and it makes me happy because it's about babies playing.
The texture is noticed in the fur of the cubs, the rough looking wall, and the grass.
It's hard to tell where the light is coming into the photo, but I think it's coming from the left side.
Triangles
Keeps your eye moving from one point of the picture to another
Makes the photo more interesting

Between the Sheets
The triangles in this photo keep the viewer captivated
Composed of only blue and white, keep it simple but pretty
Has a balanced feel to it, as though everything is where it's supposed to be
Makes the viewer feel calm but not bored
The focus of the photo is either the water falling from the sheet, or the woman.
The textures in this photo are either very soft or very smooth.
Simple and Single Point
Creates a big impact because your eye is drawn directly to the subject
Plain, simple background
No distractions from the subject

A Slow Decent
This picture reminds me of spring, which gives off a warm feeling and relaxation
Composed of bright colours, only with blue and green
The focus of the photo is the tree, and since its off to the side of the picture it looks better than it would if it was in the middle
The background is the sky which is very blue and clear
The grass compared to the sky demonstrates a difference in texture
Diagonals
Draws the viewer's eye in and out of the photo
Creates interest
Shows motion
Swings
This photo gives off a sense of fun and adventure
Composed of only black and white
Very interesting angle, shows a lot of diagonals
Light coming in from the left
Background composed of clouds with a nicely detailed texture
The top of the ride, where the swings are coming from, is the focus of the photo
Balance
Everything seems like it's where it's supposed to go
Gives a sense of organization
Balanced with placement of shapes, people, other objects etc.
Larry Victor McClain
This is a happy picture about a little kid who lived in a small town
Balanced with the use of black and white, the buildings on either side of the subject, and the reflection of the subject on top and bottom
The lighting is coming up from the top of the photo
The texture of the water next to the gravel looks nice
